Tree services in Beenleigh: what we see and what we do
Beenleigh is the old town centre of Logan's south, with the Albert River and the rum distillery on one side and the train line through the middle. Housing ranges from Queenslanders and post-war homes near the town on big blocks to 1980s estates on the slopes toward Mount Warren Park. The older streets carry mature jacarandas, poincianas, camphor laurels and mango trees, while gum trees and hoop pines mark the ridges. Storm cells often track up the Albert River valley.
Around Beenleigh the crew handles camphor laurel and Chinese elm removals on the older blocks, crown reductions on big poincianas and jacarandas, and storm clean-up. Logan City Council regulates clearing inside its Biodiversity Areas and Waterway Corridors overlays, and river-side lots are the ones most likely to be affected, so we check your property's mapping as part of the quote (Logan City Council). Pruning is done to AS 4373-2007, not lopped.
Things to watch on Beenleigh properties
- Camphor laurel and Chinese elm on old town blocks lifting paths and pipes
- Heavy poinciana limbs over Queenslanders and carports

Logan City Council rules for Beenleigh trees
Logan protects vegetation through the Biodiversity Areas Overlay and the Waterway Corridors and Wetlands Overlay of the Logan Planning Scheme 2015. Outside those mapped areas, clearing on a lot under 5,000m² is generally exempt, as is a bushfire protection zone within 10 metres of a dwelling, garden and lawn maintenance, and removal of cadaghi and umbrella trees. Inside a Biodiversity Area, a koala corridor or a waterway corridor you need an operational works approval. Council has an online vegetation clearing decision tool and we run your address through the mapping before quoting.
