Tree services in Loganholme: what we see and what we do
Loganholme sits on the Logan River where the Pacific Motorway crosses it, with the Hyperdome at its centre and the Logan River Parklands along the water. The housing is mainly 1980s and 90s on decent blocks, with pockets of older acreage toward Cornubia and the river. Gardens carry cocos palms, golden canes, leopard trees and umbrella trees from that period, and a good number of yards kept original spotted gums and ironbarks from the bush the estates replaced.
For Dan's crew, Loganholme is a 20-minute run and a regular one: palm removals, taking out umbrella trees, pruning gums off roofs and stump grinding. Logan City Council's clearing rules apply inside its Biodiversity Areas and Waterway Corridors overlays, which follow the river and the bushland reserves, and we check your lot's mapping before we quote (Logan City Council). Motorway-side properties often have trees close to service lines, and we plan those jobs to Energex's exclusion zones.

Logan City Council rules for Loganholme trees
Logan protects vegetation through the Biodiversity Areas Overlay and the Waterway Corridors and Wetlands Overlay of the Logan Planning Scheme 2015. Outside those mapped areas, clearing on a lot under 5,000m² is generally exempt, as is a bushfire protection zone within 10 metres of a dwelling, garden and lawn maintenance, and removal of cadaghi and umbrella trees. Inside a Biodiversity Area, a koala corridor or a waterway corridor you need an operational works approval. Council has an online vegetation clearing decision tool and we run your address through the mapping before quoting.
